Mommy where do all the Butterflies go?

This book was inspired by the unfortunate passing of a little girl named Breanna, who at the age of six lost her life to the perils of leukemia. Breanna loved butterflies, when I learned of this; an original poem for the family became a small book using the journey of a butterfly as a tender way of introducing the passing of loved ones to children young and older. Proceeds from this book will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Moving, to a new school, or neighborhood, can seem like life is over for children. At least that is what happened to our family. A chronological stream of events is what opened my daughter’s eyes to a new world of friends, and a way to look at life a little differently. If you think life is over cause you gotta go somewhere new, maybe this story will be good, to take with you.

The thoughts in this book were inspired by conversations I have had with friends, family, pen, paper and God. From past occurrences, to current happenings in life, its intention is to entertain, inspire and connect with the reader. In times of despair I have found that if I read a book, poem, or even listened to a song; the written word has a way of ridding isolation that is at times felt when things can’t help but go wrong. This is a great book for women’s devotional groups, or book clubs.
